What the limits actually are
The numbers the plans enforce, stated plainly, so you meet them here rather than mid-conversation.
Free messages
8 messages per week, counted over a rolling seven days rather than reset on a fixed date. Sending your eighth message on a Tuesday means that slot returns the following Tuesday. No credit card is required at any point on the free tier.
Free document attachments
1 document per 7 days on the free tier. Chat accepts PDF, DOCX, and JPG or PNG photos up to 10 MB, and scans and photos are read with OCR on our side. The separate document review tool takes PDF and DOCX only.
Pro messages
Unlimited in normal use. There is a fair-use ceiling of 500 messages per calendar month to bound the damage if an account is scripted or compromised. Almost nobody reaches it, and if you do, write to us and we will lift it rather than leave you stuck.
Very long single conversations
A Pro conversation that grows extremely long starts replaying less of its own history to keep the cost bounded. Your messages still go through; the assistant just carries less of the early thread forward. Starting a fresh chat for a new topic avoids it entirely.
Billing and cancellation
NEX Pro is $20 per month on Stripe. Cancel from your account page at any time and Pro runs to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not prorate refunds for a partial month.
